Award winning Native American family band who loves to travel and entertain for any and all occasions. Covering the entire southwestern United States and playing a variety of different venues for thousands of people over the course of almost 50 years, Apache Spirit will surprise you with a variety of music from a variety of different musicians.

With the humblest of beginnings, the Ethelbah brothers: Michael, Paschal, Matthew, and Gabe started entertaining family members using odds and ends they found in their small, home town of Cedar Creek. Rapidly growing they needed a name; The CC Ranch Boys were created and would continue to entertain the likes of family gatherings, community dances, high school proms, and eventually local fairs and festivals. By the early 70s their reputation had grown from their small home town of Cedar Creek, AZ to states outside of Arizona and they began to look toward bigger things. In 1973 Apache Spirit was officially created by parents Midnite and Lee and brothers Michael, Paschal, and Gabe.

Today Apache Spirit is carried on by the children Matt, Lisa, and Laura. The events still come rolling in for this influential and entertaining family of musicians. Going on for close to 50 years of entertaining the ears of generations of listeners, not to mention, playing with the likes of Tracy Lawrence, Doug Supernaw, Eddie Money, Sammie Smith, Redbone, Eddie Raven, The Kentucky Headhunters and many, many others. Apache Spirit has written and performed some of the most influential and prominent Native American country music in the southwestern United States.

Nationally renowned, and Native American Music Award winning Apache Spirit carries almost 50 years of legacy. Founded by Matthew J. Kane (Midnite), Lee Kane, and brothers Michael, Paschal, and Gabriel Ethelbah Apache Spirit has continued in the Native American music circuit with 11 albums under their belt since the early 70’s. Most albums recorded contain all original material. Splitting duties Lee writes lyrics about life as it pertains to the reservation, poverties, traditions and triumphs of the Native American people. Midnite with his unlimited talent as a musician writes danceable, eclectic rhythms which reflect his White Mountain Apache origin and roots as a late 60’s rock inspired guitarist.

Apache Spirit has toured with Freddy Fender and the late country artist Sammy Smith. They have also been featured with Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Exile, Bailey and the Boys, Jo-El Sonnier, Doug Supernaw, the Wilkenson’s, Marty Stuart and the Kentucky Headhunters just to name a few. They have performed in line ups across the 4 corners area with many award winning Native American talents. After surviving many years with hired pros, Apache Spirit has found refuge in the second and third generations;
